Overview

The ACME SCORPIUS is the next generation all-weather, IP66-rated moving beam fixture. Powered by the new Philips MSD Platinum 500L Flex discharge lamp, the SCORPIUS delivers a solid, uniform, and ultra-sharp beam at 1.8 degrees. With its high -quality optical system and large 230 mm frontal lens, it produces a luminous flux of 4,680,000 lux at 5 meters and 1,170,000 lux at 10 meters. The fixture's long throw and bright beam are perfect in any venue or production.

The SCORPIUS fixture's color system includes a CMY color mixing system, CTO from 3200K to 6700K, and a 14-color wheel. Whether your needs are for deep, rich saturated colors or soft pastels, the SCORPIUS delivers the performance you expected in a beam fixture .

 

For effects, the SCORPIUS has a rotating gobo wheel with 7 high-definition gobos, a static gobo wheel with 18 gobos, a dual-prism system with 8-facet and 6-facet prisms, and a frost filter for softening beam edges.
