On September 22, 2024, the "Bay Area Rising Moon" 2024 Greater Bay Area Film & Music Gala took center stage at the Galaxy Arena in Macau, under the theme “Dragon’s Heritage, Dragon’s Spirit.” Blending cultural elements from cities across the Bay Area, the gala showcased the region’s unique charm.
The event brought together filmmakers, musicians, and Olympic champions from across the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, alongside internationally acclaimed artists, showcasing the shared heritage and deep bonds of the Chinese people and celebrating the 25th anniversary of Macau's return to China.
ACME Lighting played a pivotal role in creating a mesmerizing visual experience for the gala. Nearly 1,500 ACME fixtures, including moving lights, LED wash lights, linear lights, effect lights and more, transformed the stage into a dynamic and colorful masterpiece.
A standout highlight was our hot-selling TORNADO light, which dominated the light wall at the back of the stage. The fixture boasts 5 x 120W LEDs as its main light source, complemented by an outer ring of 120 x 0.5W RGB LEDs. Thanks to its fast and smooth zoom, the fixture created a mesmerizing lighting effect like a wave of water, while its five independently controlled heads delivered sharp, saturated beams for an unforgettable spectacle.
The "Bay Area Rising Moon" gala was more than just a performance—it was a vivid representation of the Greater Bay Area’s cultural prosperity and economic synergy. With ACME cutting-edge lighting solutions illuminating the stage, every moment came alive with brilliance!
