ACME Rocks the Nine Inch Nails “Peel It Back Tour 2025”

September 16, 2025

From June 2025, the legendary American industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails (NIN) embarked on their worldwide “Peel It Back Tour 2025”, delivering an electrifying fusion of raw energy and immersive visuals. The tour pushes the boundaries of modern stage production — powered in part by ACME PULSAR S2 and GEMINI fixtures.

Formed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, together with longtime collaborators Robin Finck and Alessandro Cortini, NIN transforms each performance into a storm of light, sound, and emotion — where industrial rock meets stage artistry.

The show featured a main stage and a B stage, continuing NIN’s signature industrial minimalism with a focus on structure, space, and immersion.

Above the main stage, a massive rectangular rig — a layered grid of metal framing and light arrays — descended and transformed throughout the show. Acting as a dynamic “industrial dome,” it sculpted light and shadow into shifting geometries, redefining spatial perception.

Lighting designer Arlo Guthrie created layered, high-contrast looks and melt-your-face lighting moment. Seamless transitions of light and video linked the two stages, immersing the crowd in a corridor of sound and light.

We’re honer that ACME fixtures were chosen for this incredible production. On the main stage, the PULSAR S2 units were suspended around the edges of the massive rectangular rig, while on the B stage they were placed both in front and behind the performers. With its dual-head design and infinite pan/tilt movement, it delivered powerful beam and wash transitions at the front, while its rear section combined strobe, pixel control, and beam effects for maximum visual impact. Every pulse, sweep, and shadow was meticulously choreographed to the music, drawing the audience deep into NIN’s visceral world.

Meanwhile, the ACME GEMINI fixtures on the B stage provided dynamic background light arrays, enriching the spatial depth and texture. With integrated beam, strobe, wash, pixel, and infinite pan/tilt movement, the fixtures brought a versatile, kinetic energy that complemented the raw, industrial aesthetic of the show.

More than a concert, the "Peel It Back Tour 2025" stands as a benchmark in contemporary stage design — where cutting-edge lighting technology meets uncompromising artistic vision. ACME is proud to be part of this global production, where innovation, sound, and light merged into an unforgettable experience.
