On October 11, Jay Chou’s Carnival World Tour came to a spectacular close at Shanghai Stadium. Spanning six years and 110 performances worldwide, the Shanghai stop welcomed over 60,000 fans per night across three sold-out shows—setting a new record for both single-show and total attendance in the venue’s concert history.
Powered by more than 1,000 ACME Lighting fixtures and nearly 300 Reyn Audio equipment, the final chapter unfolded as a breathtaking audiovisual feast. Immersive lighting, powerful sound, and raw emotion came together to elevate every song and create an unforgettable live experience.
The stage featured AECO series fixtures, delivering high CRI that accurately reproduced natural skin tones and costume details, ensuring every expression was seen with stunning clarity.
The AECO 30 IP projected powerful beams and exceptional brightness, anchoring visual focus on the performer and creating striking impact across the grand stage. The AECO 20 fixtures, combined with the Spotrack TrACME followspot system, ensured every movement, subtle gesture, and facial expression was tracked and illuminated with precision.

Positioned along the front edge of the stage, the TORNADO multi-effect lights delivered sharp, saturated beams, vibrant colors, and fast zoom. Their dynamic, fluid wave-like motions were synchronized with every beat, enhancing the stage with layered depth and rhythmic energy.
The ARES IP cut through the venue with an ultra-sharp 1.3° beam, reaching up to 990,000 lux at 10 meters and transforming the performance into a visually striking spectacle.
In addition to these four fixtures, the stage was further energized by the HAIL strobe lights and the STAGE BLINDER P8 effect lights, adding rhythmic intensity and immersive interaction to the show.
Jay Chou’s Carnival World Tour also featured high-performance audio systems from Reyn Audio, the professional sound brand under Foshan Yifeng. Facing the expansive interior and exterior structure of Shanghai Stadium, Reyn Audio deployed a comprehensive solution featuring RAFALE1 line arrays, RAPTOR subwoofers, ABRAMS1 monitors, and the TURANDOT acoustic system software.
TURANDOT played a pivotal role in both simulating the sound design and executing the entire installation and commissioning process. During the preparatory phase, its precise 3D sound-field modeling and rehearsal capabilities were tailored to Shanghai Stadium’s unique circular dome and multi-tiered seating layout.
With the Carnival world tour officially concluded, Jay Chou will return next year with an all-new tour, featuring an exclusive concert title designed for each city.
