On March 8, the Douyin Live Streaming Festival gathered nearly 1,000 livestream creators and more than 8,000 fans in Sanya, China, under the theme "Chasing Passion Together." For this highly anticipated celebration of the livestream community, nearly 1,300 ACME fixtures powered the visual experience.
The stage design was built around the concept of a "Forest of Passion." Vertically extended, column-shaped LED screens, integrated with kinetic lifting systems, formed a dynamic spatial structure. Through the rhythmic movement of the screen matrix, the stage continuously evolved, creating a sense of upward growth and living motion. This flexible stage architecture enabled diverse visual compositions throughout the show, allowing each highlight moment to unfold within a unique spatial expression.
The gala unfolded across three narrative chapters, each supported by a distinctive lighting language. ACME fixtures played a pivotal role in shaping the atmosphere of each chapter, translating emotion and storytelling into immersive visual experiences.
The opening chapter, "Passion Ignited," burst to life with the powerful presence of the ACME TORNADO. With sharp, columnated beams sweeping across the stage, the fixtures ignited the venue with waves of dynamic light. Combined with rich, saturated colors, the TORNADO created a bold visual impact, delivering a striking opening moment for the show.
As the show transitioned into the second chapter, "The Many Faces of Passion," the stage embraced a more immersive and emotional atmosphere. The PIXEL LINE IP strip lights became a dynamic visual element of this chapter. Featuring 672 × 0.5W RGB LEDs and 112 × 3W CW LEDs divided into independently controllable sections, the fixtures delivered striking pixel mapping and energetic strobe effects. The result was a vibrant and visually engaging space, reinforcing the emotional connection between creators and fans.
The show’s final chapter, "United in Passion," elevated the spectacle to its most powerful visual climax. The THETA wash lights combine a beam section powered by a 200W CW LED with a wash section featuring 30 x 40W RGBW LEDs. Equipped with a color wheel, a static gobo wheel, two combinable prisms, and a frost filter, the fixtures transformed the stage into a radiant galaxy of light, producing immersive, multi-layered visual textures.
Adding further depth to the stage was the ACME PULSAR S2. Its front head features 4 x 60W RGBW LEDs, delivering powerful beams and rich colors, while the rear head integrates an LED matrix capable of pixel mapping, strobe and beam effects. This dual-face design provided lighting designers with exceptional flexibility to create versatile and layered visual looks.
From punchy beams and soft washes to explosive strobes and dynamic effects, ACME fixtures delivered the visual energy that powered every moment of the show. By providing a comprehensive lighting solution for the stage, ACME helped transform the creative vision of the production team into a vibrant and immersive experience.
