As one of Asia’s most iconic music festivals, S2O Songkran Music Festival celebrated its 11th anniversary from April 11–13, 2026, transforming the newly established S2O LAND on Bangkok’s Ratchadaphisek Road into a global stage of music, water, and celebration. Bringing together world-class DJs, a signature 360° water system, and spectacular festival production, the event once again lived up to its reputation as “The World’s Wettest Party.”

Blending EDM culture with Thailand’s traditional Songkran celebration, S2O has become a global festival phenomenon, attracting music lovers from around the world to experience a unique fusion of sound, light, water, and culture.

For a festival defined by water, ACME fixtures were challenged by one of the most demanding operating environments. Continuous water effects, extreme humidity, and high-energy performances require fixtures capable of delivering both visual impact and exceptional reliability. To meet these challenges, the production deployed 234 x PIXEL LINE IP and 72 x MANA HYBRID, all featuring IP66 protection.

Positioned throughout the stage architecture, the PIXEL LINE IP strip lights played a key role in shaping the festival’s dynamic visual identity. Combining dynamic strobe effects with pixel mapping, the fixtures delivered fast-paced rhythmic effects synchronized with the music, enhancing the intensity of each performance. From high-energy audience interaction moments to immersive electronic atmospheres, the PIXEL LINE IP delivered vibrant visual energy while maintaining stable operation throughout the three-day event.

As the primary moving-head system, the MANA HYBRID provided the flexibility required for a music festival featuring diverse artists and performance styles. Its CMY color mixing system, color wheel, and variable CTO expanded the creative palette available to designers, while rich gobos and two combinable prisms added depth, texture, and visual layering across the stage environment. Whether supporting energetic EDM drops or atmospheric show moments, the MANA HYBRID delivered versatility and visual richness throughout the festival.

Throughout the event, ACME’s IP66-rated fixtures operated flawlessly under relentless water blasts and intense humidity, delivering consistent output, visual impact, and rock-solid reliability. The S2O Songkran Music Festival once again demonstrated ACME’s ability to deliver cutting-edge lighting solutions for the world's most demanding live productions.
