From July 30 to August 1, 2026, the 32nd Pol’and’Rock Festival transformed the Czaplinek-Broczyno airfield in Poland into a vast open-air celebration of live music, drawing audiences together for three days of performances and activities. This year’s lineup featured international acts including Godsmack, Dropkick Murphys, P.O.D., and Kosheen, alongside legendary Polish artists, creating a diverse programme across the festival’s stages.
At the heart of the production, the main stage retained the festival’s distinctive circular design, complemented by a large overhead lighting structure built around radial trusses extending outward from the centre. The combination of the circular core and radiating trusses created a strong geometric framework above the stage, providing both a defining visual element and an expansive canvas for dynamic lighting effects.
ACME Lighting was once again part of the large-scale production, with nearly 350 fixtures integrated into the central lighting system and overhead structure. The combination of moving hybrids, effect lights, and pixel lighting supported a wide range of visual effects while complementing the architecture of the stage.
At the centre of the overhead structure, the PULSAR PLUS S2 and PULSAR formed a dense matrix of fixtures around the circular core. Their dual-face design and combination of beam, wash, strobe, and pixel effects provided multiple layers of visual expression within the central structure. During musical peaks, the fixtures enhanced the centre of the stage with coordinated movement, color, and effects.
Extending across the radial trusses, the TORNADO fixtures formed a striking beam array above the stage. Their sharp, saturated beams projected outward from the center, creating a flowing, wave-like motion across the space above the performers and audience. The effects extended the visual lines of the stage architecture into the air, adding depth and scale to the overall production.
Installed on the overhead lighting trusses, the MANA HYBRID provided a versatile layer of beam, spot, and wash effects across the central performance area. The combination of effects helped build different layers of light around the artists and musicians, adding dynamic and visual composition to the stage.
Following the circular and radial geometry of the overhead structure, the PIXEL LINE IP formed continuous linear bands of pixel light extending outward from the centre. Working alongside the TORNADO, the fixture reinforced the radial geometry with animated lines of light, turning the overhead architecture into a large-scale dynamic visual element.
The combination of these fixtures allowed the lighting system to work as part of the overall stage architecture rather than as separate lighting elements. From concentrated effects at the centre to extended beams and animated linear visuals across the radial structure, ACME fixtures provided the output, versatility, and beam control required for the large-scale production.
For ACME Lighting, the project also marks another year of involvement with the Pol’and’Rock Festival. The continued collaboration reflects ACME’s ability to support demanding live productions with lighting solutions designed for diverse creative and technical requirements.
