From September 25 to 27, BEONIX Festival 2026, Cyprus’ leading electronic music festival, brought together world-renowned artists, thousands of music lovers from around the globe, and immersive production to the iconic ETKO venue. Behind the visual spectacle, 336 ACME fixtures played a central role in the festival’s lighting design.
Set within Limassol's port district, ETKO is a repurposed industrial winery complex combining warehouse interiors with open-air spaces. This varied environment called for a versatile lighting setup capable of delivering impactful aerial effects and reliable outdoor performance throughout the three-day festival. The ACME’s IP66-rated fixtures met a wide range of lighting requirement, from high-impact beam effects and pixel-driven animation to bold blinder moments and precise key lighting for performers.
A key element of the festival's pixel-driven visual design was 156 PIXEL LINE IP fixtures, deployed across stage structures. Their independently controlled RGB and cool-white zones transformed the architecture into a dynamic canvas of animated colour and rhythmic pulses that moved with the music in real time.
Suspended from the overhead trusses, the SAGITTA IP moving heads projected sharp, high-intensity beams across the open-air stage, cutting through the Mediterranean night sky with striking aerial effects.
Adding depth and visual layers to the stage, the HYPERZONE LED washbeam moving heads delivered saturated colors, powerful beams and extraordinary brightness. The GEMINI fixtures further expanded the creative possibilities with their dual-face design, multiple effects and infinite pan-and-tilt rotation.
Together, pixel effects gave the stages a distinctive graphic identity, beams carved through the haze, and washes and blinders shifted the atmosphere from intimate to overwhelming. Set against ETKO’s raw industrial architecture, the lighting balanced bold visual impact with the distinct atmosphere of each performance space.
